Jake’s story will break your heart but it’s an important one to hear. In the last few years, Jake has lost 3 important people in his life. His friend, Paddy, his Brother, Shane and also his Mother.

Jake’s Mother is Sinead O’Connor, and while we of course chat about Sinead in this episode, Jake wanted to take this opportunity to shine a light on his brother’s short life. Shane suffered with his mental health and spent time in the foster care system, something that Jake tried his best to pull him out from.

I can only imagine the pain that Jake has felt these last few years, dealing with such an enormous amount of grief and loss. In a bid to cope with it all, he has surrounded himself with his beautiful family, in a rural part of Ireland, backed onto a woodland full of nature. He has made a secure, safe and stable home for his kids to grow up in comfort and peace.
