I’ve never met anyone who has worked in Antarctica before so it was such a joy to sit and chat with Ruth about her adventures there. Ruth is bubbly, hilarious and full of life. It’s no surprise that she sold her house (almost on a whim), packed everything into her van and went to work in the kitchens of McMurdo station.

By all accounts, it sounded cold, very strange, but also romantic and fun in parts too.
